Agency and Counselor Introduction
Mind and Spirit Counseling and Education Services is a privately-owned Christian Counseling agency with services designed to meet the needs of adult individuals seeking the benefits of counseling services. My name is Mark Stobie, I am the Owner/Clinician of the agency. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor(LPCC) Licensed with the Ohio Counselor Social Worker Marriage and Family Therapy Board I can serve clients located in the Greater Dayton Ohio area, as well as from anywhere within the State of Ohio
Because of the state Board's updated policies, I can provide counseling services through the use of Telecounseling Services. These services can be delivered using both Audio/Video, and Audio-Only methods of delivery, This means that I am now able to be accessible by more clients needing counseling services in my specialty areas of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD). The flexibility of Telecounseling also provides perspective clients with a broader selection of Counselors to choose from within the state, and in many cases reduces wait times for initial intake appointments.

To begin the Telecounseling process, please call or email the office to participate in a brief screening process to make certain that I will be a good fit for your counseling needs. During this initial process I will collect demographic information including; phone, email address, and insurance information where applicable. From there you can expect to receive multiple emails containing Adobe Docu-Sign documents for you to fill out and sign. Once the documents have been completed, they will be returned to me and a copy of them will be sent to you for your records. After the intake documents are received, I will send instructions via email on how to use Microsoft Teams Software to conduct your online Telecounseling session. I will also send a file containing instructions on how to use the InstaMed Payment Portal to pay insurance deductible and co-pay charges, or self-pay obligations where applicable.
A Message For Those Who Live With ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorders and their loved ones
If you are a person who struggles with ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome, or you are a family struggling with these issues, Mind and spirit Counseling can help. I have been working with clients with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders from the beginnings of my career as a Therapist.
I also work with family members to help them establish skills and a support system that will help their loved ones, as well as provide them with education to work through many of the challenges that come with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
By providing education about these disorders, I help to dispel some of the mysteries that surround them, as well as some of the myths both the client and family may have heard about them. Knowledge brings hope, acceptance and empowerment.
